The Sibling

Created by Rebecca one month ago

My father that I never knew, you never knew of me.

I never saw your picture, I never felt your touch,

you did not know I walked this earth and needed you so much.

I have a sister somewhere, and this I am certain of,

she is a lucky lady having you to love.

I prayed one day I would find you, but then - what would I do?

'Hello Dad, I'm your little girl.' Your reply 'I don't know you.'

The years have passed, I sometimes cry,

I have now learnt you are in God's sky.

I miss you Dad, I love you too,

I can never forget the dad I never knew.
